Kevin Flannery, Founder, CEO, President
Flannery founded WiSpots in the fall of 2002 with the vision to deliver public access (WiFi) to consumers throughout the world. By 2005, WiSpots had evolved into the most targeted form of advertising on the planet. Flannery’s vision, dedication and commitment to achieving this goal has allowed WiSpots to weather the journey and become a leader in delivering cutting-edge technologies to the healthcare and numerous other industries. Prior to founding WiSpots, Flannery founded Wireless Management Solutions, Inc., a wireless service and management company. Flannery has more than 25 years of experience in the communications industry, including more than 15 years as a successful entrepreneur. Flannery began his professional career as a proud member of the United States Marine Corps.
Ray Potts, Senior Vice President of Sales
Potts is a seasoned, respected and visionary sales executive. Prior to joining to joining WiSpots, Inc. he was responsible for all Reignmaker Sales channels including wholesale services, national accounts and major accounts. Potts' leadership and successful track record led Reignmaker to record sales in 2007 and 2008. Prior to joining Reignmaker, he was the VP of Sales at BullsEye Telecom where he managed the performance of the direct, agent and Corporate Advantage sales teams. Prior to BullsEye, he was the senior vice president of sales at Verso Technologies. There, he managed over 50 sales representatives in 30 countries and was involved in the strategic planning of the Verso's market expansion. Potts graduated from St. Joe’s college, magna cum laude with a degree in business management.
L Huntley, Interim Chief Financial Officer
A graduate of East Carolina University in business administration and finance, Huntley has over twenty years experience in the automotive industry, the majority in management. With a background in accounting and finance, Huntley’s resume includes tenures with such companies as Site Corporation, G E Capital, Hendricks Automotive Group and Crown Automotive, a predecessor of the Asbury Group. After eight years in public and real estate accounting, Huntley took his accounting experience to the retail automobile industry where he excelled in finance and management. Moving from the retail side of the industry to auto lending and leasing, Huntley spent the next fifteen years in sales representation and sales management, working inside and eventually creating sales organizations to provide accounting and consumer finance products and servicing of those finance products to the dealer base. Products included loans, both prime and sub-prime, leases, gap insurance and other point-of-sale items, as well as collection and loan administration services.
Tim Flannery, Director of Operations
Flannery began working with WiSpots in 2004, serving as the director of operations of the company since 2006. He has over 20 years’ experience in the voice, data and video telecommunications industry, including managing the design, engineering, implementation and certification of fiber optic, copper and coaxial local area networks. He was the project manager for Alcatel Cabling Systems, responsible for the design and installation of the complete network solution for the AOL data centers and the RBC Center (home of the Carolina Hurricanes). He also served as the site manger for a base-wide $14 million LAN system installation and certification project for the U.S. Air Force and Navy. He is certified by BICSI as a communication distribution designer with additional experience to include Microsoft Project Management. Flannery holds an associate’s degree in business management from American River College in Sacramento, Calif.

Dr. Jacob Lohr
Dr. Lohr is the Jacob A. Lohr, MD professor of pediatrics and chief of the General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine Division in the Department of Pediatrics at the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Medicine. He is a medical editor for the American Board of Pediatrics and has served as a consultant for both the American Academy of Pediatrics and the World Health Organization. He has published nearly 150 articles, abstracts or chapters and has edited several textbooks during his medical career. He was drawn to WiSpots because of its potential for providing up-to-date medical education to patients and families in the setting of a medical waiting area.
Dr. A. Gregory Rosenfeld
Dr. Rosenfeld is a board-certified member of the American Board of Neurological Surgery. Rosenfeld is the co-founder of Piedmont Neurosurgical Services, PA in Hickory, NC where he has been practicing general neurosurgery since 1991. Professional memberships include the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, NC Medical Society, NC Spine Society, as well as the American Medical Association.

David Colburn
Colburn has more than 20 years of both operating and executive level experience, including president/CEO of five companies and COO of two companies: public and private. He has led companies with $7 million up to $7 billion in P&L/revenue responsibility. He has served on boards of both public and private companies and served as chairman of two industry associations. His roles have also involved raising private equity and working with PE firms. His skill sets are vast and cross global boundaries and industries. He is known for his vision, strategic approach and ability to build teams that produce results with a high degree of integrity. A passionate executive with deep industry insight, results-oriented management style and a collaborative team approach, his ability to utilize technology as an enabler to solve key business issues has allowed him to take advantage of his vast industrial and technology background. He is customer focused and a very participative executive.
Jim Short
Short is the president and founder of PrestoTech Solutions, an IT equipment and telecommunications services company located in Grand Rapids Michigan. PrestoTech is an authorized Lenovo, HP, IBM business partner as well as an AT&T Solution Provider. He began PrestoTech six years ago and brings more than 18 years of IT/AV equipment sales, sales management, configuration and distribution experience. Prior to founding PrestoTech Solutions, Short spent 12 years at Precision Data Products. He was a leader in sales during his tenure with Precision, working in the capacity of senior account representative, sales manager and finally director of the AV Solutions division. Within the Western Michigan community, Short has spent many years as an active member of the Grand Rapids Jaycee, in addition, he served for several years on their board of directors. He continues to give back to the community by sponsoring various charitable fund raisers and events. Short is also a long time WiSpots investor and shareholder.
Chuck Norman APR
Norman is the executive vice president of public relations with S&A Cherokee. Norman’s background includes wide-ranging experience in public relations, marketing, advertising and publishing. He has been extensively involved in governmental relations and economic development and made lasting relationships with local, county and state-elected officials. Norman’s communication experience includes work with colleges and universities, chambers of commerce, sales training, Web site design and development, town and local governments, technology and political campaigns, among others. Norman is an accredited member of PRSA and has held leadership roles with the NCPRSA and RPRS. He is currently president for PRSA’s North Carolina Chapter, Norman was also named to PRSA’s Counselors Academy in 2008 & received the Business Journal’s 40 under 40 Leadership Award in 2009. He also holds several board positions outside of the communications field including chairman-elect for the Holly Springs Chamber of Commerce. He was named to the Wake Technical Community College Advisory Board and the board of the International Special Inspectors Association in 2010. Norman has a Bachelor of Arts in communication from North Carolina State University.
